DVD not read by PC

OK, have a problem and began reading the boards, and I see some people with an similar issue.

here is Mine:

 

Create DVD using MyDVD in EMC9. DVD works fine on every DVD player in the house. HOWEVER is cannot get it to work on any PC including the one I burned it on. I mean this thing locks up my PC like you wouldn't believe. I've tried on 2 desktops and 1 laptop with all having the same issue.

 

I am using different software on each to try and play the DVD.

 

So, anyone have any ideas??

Usually people post with the opposite problem that it only works on computers. That is odd. Have you tried a different brand of disc? What software do you use to play it back on your pc?

I've used 3 different PC's with different software packages to try and play the DVD. So not sure that's the issue.Used Maxell DVD -R disks

 

I guess I could try a different brand.
