Creator 4.05 problem

I bought an external drive from Acer a few years back and it came with this software which I love. The external CD-WR drive now fails and I can't burn to my new CD and DVD drives as the software doesn't see them. What is the best solution (see cheapest).

I have other software like Record Now, and numerous DVD and VCD software none of which is like EZ CD Creator for custom music CDs.

Am I corect....you just purchased new CD & DVD burners and you have a ECDC 4 installed.

 

If that is correct you will have to purchase some new software (ECDC 4 is many, many years old and will NOT support any new burners).

 

If you want too stick with Roxio products tell us what Operating System you have and maybe we can help some more.

How about posting the id string of yr burners? (If you don't know how to find it, that (and much else) is in FREQUENT ANSWERS pinned to the top of the Forum.)

 

It is POSSIBLE you cd upgrade to ECDC 5 via eBay. But first we need to be sure the drives will be recognized. If they are too new for that, I'm afraid you will need to try something newer.

 

(I like ECDC 5 MUCH better than ECDC 4. However, starting with Version 6, each Version is "all new", not the previous Version with improvements.)
