What temp files are created in Video Wave

Ther19

Question

Hi, I am doing a video wave project. My HDD is broken into several partitions. The C: drive is the system partition. For security reasons, it has my XP SP2 and other things that absolutely must be on the same drive as the OS. The EZMC 9 is installed on the E (application partition). I have gone into options and switched the temp file folder from the C drive out to an data drive. Still, when I'm doing this project, it has gobbled about 500megs of the C partition and I'm getting low disc drive freespace warnings and it has now stopped the project. I have checked the proxy files, there is nothing there so that's not it. How can I get it to put whatever other temp files that must be created elsewhere? First, I guess I have to know what temp files are being created and where. This is not good. I need to finish this quickly. Xmas and all that. Thanks

Clear your temp files and temporary internet files under Documents and Settings/your computer user name/Local Settings.

Where doyou have the Windows TEMP folder set? You can change that also to another drive.

Right click MY COMPUTER

Choose Properties

Click the ADVANCED TAB

at the bottom of that dialgo box, click the 'Environment Variables' Button

There is a TEMP and TMP variable that can be edited.

Select one and click the EDIT button.
