Customer background music

Roxio does not give an option where i can extend the background music to play beyond 20 (approx)seconds. I would like to play entire CD that might run upto an hour. I have plenty of space on DVD project.

 

So, i created Videowave project with background music and tried to insert that in MyDVD but Roxio crashed. Then i created WMV in different software and that did not work either. I also tried AVI but no luck so far.

 

Am i asking for too much? Thanks!

Actually I think it will autoplay.There is a box for "Autoplay (starts playing first track when disc inserted)" under the project settings.I've never used it but it is there.

Please provide detailed steps of what you are doing. Also indicate the program(s) you are using.

Are you talking about the MAIN MENU? Why would you want a menu that last an hour? I believe the longest test anyone here has done was 1800sec which is 30min.

 

Is there no video at all?

Consider the main menu to be audio content that plays by default. What settings have you changed to get 1800 sec? I will be happy with that too... but currently i only get little over 20 seconds. Video can be image or small clip, but it is insignificant. thanks,

If you just want to play audio DVD, maybe consider the Music Disc Creator module.

If you are talking about the Main Menu, just right click on it and select edit. A Videowave looking window should open. You'll then build your "menu background" there with audio, video, stills, whatever, so that it is an hour long. Then use the return to menu button to get back. You're probably also going to have to add at least one movie to the main menu, as I don't think it will be a "valid" DVD production with only a menu.

Ah, many ways to that. Like suggested in the previous post, Music Disc Creator will make a video DVD with music. But I don't think it will create one that autoplays. The included styles do have a 'play all' button. Press one button and play music for 3 or 4 hours.
