Hi Def Photo Burning

Bill A.

Question

I am trying to render (load) photos from videowave to MPEG2 movie in 1080i resolution in order to eventually create a BluRay DVD. When trying to convert to MPEG2, the program crashes and I receive "Ran out of Memory" message with only 1.41 MB of data loaded. I have a full GIG of RAM, so I doubt that I am really out of memory.

Any Ideas?

(PS: I am NOT interested in any BlePay vs HD format discussions. I will use Hi Def for my photos only and I could care less which format eventually wins out.)

You could try increasing it again - say to 4084 MB (4 GB) - that's what mine is set to

Also - defrag the hard drive, run adaware and/or spybot - also close down any background apps

Spy/malware can chew up memory and you normally don't even know it's there

Out of memory problems may be related to the size of the pagefile in Windows.

I don't know if you added RAM to your computer after it was set up but if you did, then the pagefile will have to be altered manually.

You say you have 1 GB - in that case the pagefile should at least 2 GB minimum - if possible, set it to the same size for both min and max
