Editing Videowave Audio File

REDWAGON

Question

Videowave Production with approx. 250 slide--Six (six) different audio (MP3) files placed end to end-- End of each audio file set for 5 second fade Out. (This is the maximum allowed when you edit an audio file in Videowaveand use the option "Fade Out"). Entire production has Transitions added.

Production when previewed in Videowave---Perfect. Brought DMSM file into DVDBuilder and completed all necessary edits and when previewed---Perfect. And all the audio fade outs sound perfect as well.

Burned both ISO and to disk. Played both on DVD player (set top) and now every audio file stops abrutly rather than sounding like the fade out I wanted. Any suggestions as to why this is happening ??

I realize I could use other parts of the "EDIT" option to cut off more than the 5 seconds allowed by the fade out option but again why doesn't the 5 second fade out work ???

I have had the samething as sisterscape. I find that after I do a save, it is best to close that production then reopen it and look at the TimeLine to see if the audio is as I intended. Nothinhg like having background audio as loud as the native audio or some sound that you edited out coming right back in!!!

When I make a Videowave production I save everything after each major addition and then even in between times. I learned a long time ago that multiple saves along the way save a lot of time !!! And BTW, I have gone back and re-looked at my production AFTER saving the final and later going back and reopen the production and the fade outs are still there.

Still have no clue as to why the fade outs are lost after burning the DVD :)
