ScooterRash
Since I am a beginner, can anyone tell me which DVD I should use to burn my home video onto (DVD-R or DVD+R) and why? And, which brand of disc would you recommend for use in my HP Media Center PC m7265? I'm currently using TDK. Thanks, Steven (An enthusiastic beginner)

Thanks, Steven (An enthusiastic beginner) I've had great luck with Verbatim and Imation DVD's. I stay away from Memorex at all costs. The +R/-R is mostly a matter of opinion but I find there seem to be more stand alone players out in the market that like +R but almost every relatively new unit should play both with no problems.
