smartie
I see that Record Now is advertised as taking input from LP's records and cassettes. However, I need to find out what exactly I need in order to plug my record player (with phono plugs ) into the computer and how the process will actually work. tbrewst
What you need is somekind of preamplifier stage between your phone out and your computer.Either a receiver or a stand alone preamp will do the trick. You plug your phono into the input of the preamp and plug the output into the line in on your soundcard. You'll need a cord that has stereo rca plugs on one end and a stereo mini plug on the other to plug into your soundcard. gi7omy
You may need a pre-amp in line with the deck - but in general, the output from the source plugs into the 'line in' port on the computer - check advanced properties on your volume control if it's not visible and enable it from there
