How do 3 vids less than 420 megs take up a 4 gig DVDR?

tstwahine

Question

This is my first time using this program... so please bare with me.

I wanted to add 13 Titles (short video clips) to burn onto a dvd. Each clip is approx 140 megs... when i add just 1 title it shows the estimated size of the movie to be 1500 megs... which i know is totally wrong...

Is there a process that i somehow dont know about? Because i should easily be able to fit all of these on here.

They are AVI files... should i convert them to another filetype?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have roxio mydvd8 premier.

Thanks!

The process is...the size of the file means nothing. It is the length of time of the video that controls. You will get 1 hour of video on a standard 4.7 GB DVD at best quality.
