Essentials vs. Premier Question

Greetings!

 

I have a question regarding Essentials vs. Premier. I have MyDVD Essentials 8, and am considering an upgrade to Premier. I didn't realize that I wouldn't be able to make my own menu background with the Essentials package. If I upgrade to premier, will I be able to make my own menu background while creating a DVD? This is basically all I want to do.

 

I can't help but notice the greyed out menu options, and I also noticed the disclaimer in the Help topics, that some of the topics won't apply if you don't have the right software. I'm assuming my inability to make my own menu background is thus because I don't have premiere and not some other problem. I'm sorry that my searching abilities are not better but I'd appreciate any help or feedback.

For a short time only for only $8 more than the premier, you can get the full EMC V9 where everything is available and you get audio, photo and other applications. It is a much better choice. BTW, I'm not sure what is available in Premier - I still don't think everything is.
