bob1066 Posted December 27, 2006 Report Share Posted December 27, 2006 Imported an MPEG2 file to VideoWave; GSPOT reports the attributes as: Container MPEG2 program stream << {1vid,1aud} Sys bitrate: 8000 kb/sVBR Audio MPEG-1 Layer 2 0xc0:48000Hz 192 kb/s tot , Stereo Video MPEG2 Picture 544x576 File size: 2.855GB Edited the file and output in the default iPod settings; GSPOT reports attributes as: Container File Type: MP4 (.MP4) [iSO 14496-14:2003] Mime Type: video/mp4 Recommended Display Size: 320 x 240 Audio MPEG-4 AAC LC 48000Hz 128 kb/s tot (2 chnls) Video avc1 H.264/MPEG-4 AVC Picture 320x240 File size: 5.355GB The latter file imports into iTunes (v7.0.2.0.6) ok and plays in iTunes ok. The file will NOT transfer to the iPod (latest brand new version), I get a message saying it will not play on the iPod. Any ideas? Also; why is the iPod file so huge?
