When I display my label to print it only displays the song title and duration and does not display the artists name. Can you help?? Thanks

That is correct. The 'Track List' smart object does not include the artist's name. You can rigth click the list and manually edit it to include this information.

In the past versions I've used (6 & previous) they do list the artist name, and the track number.

 

It seems the name of the track is taken from the tags in this version, and was teken from the name of the actual file in older versions.

 

Is there a way to add this info without manually editing it?

 

It seems odd to make the newer version less functional then the older ones. Is this a mistake, or am I missing some functionality?

 

The idea of a back of a cd NOT listing the track # is just downright odd.

The question is ambiguous and incomplete. I answered it the first way I read it, deleted that and now the second way I read it. Try this. Select "Options" from the home page lower right. Make sure you have selected as shown.

 

There are also different options depending on what kind of disc you are creating - audio CD, Mp3 disc or DVD music disc and what application you are using to create the disc. Music Disc Creator or one of the assistants from under the audio tab. The second image shows options for mp3 discs.

 

A little more information will go a long way to solving your problem.

Thanks for the help. Agreed, I was a bit ambigious in my question. I had originally posted on 12/21 the below question that was never responded to. This may give a little more insight into my problem.

"I have ripped 19 cuts from various store bought CD’s using Music Disc Creator in Easy Media Creator Suite 9 and have burned these to a CD for a compilation disk. In Music Disc Creator it displays the song title, artist and duration of tract. However, when I go to print the labels, only the (1) song title and (2) duration of tract gets carried over to print. Each of the respective artist’s name is not displayed to print.
