Insert Disc Message when installing

I was able to install MyDVD8 initially without a problem. I was experiencing problems with the program and my computer in general and uninstalled the program. Now when I try to install, the install progress will begin and toward the end of install, intall stops and I get an "insert disc" message. Any suggestions?

I am having the same problem! What are we supposed to do? I can't get ahold of the support because I am not off work at the times they are in. Someone please help!

Check the disc for thumbprints etc - if it seems clean, make a temp folder anywhere on the hard drive, copy the contentsb of the CD into that and run setup.exe from there

 

If the files fail to copy over, you have a faulty CD

You are awesome! Thank you SOOOO much! I made a folder on my desktop and copied the cd files to it and run setup from there. Everything worked perfectly!
