Hello again, and I hope everyone had a great holiday.....
Here's the deal in a nutshell: Years back a friend of the family tranferred all of our home movies to VHS. Most of the production is silent, with maybe about an hours worth of different 5 minute movies. However, in the middle of the tape, at a random spot, some Frank Sinatra is overdubbed. After the song is over, silence until the end.
My question is, what would I need to do when transferring the VHS to DVD to add my own soundtrack without that part having my new overdub playing over the original Sinatra song (in other words, I don't want both songs playing on top of each other- I want the original Sinatra song OUTTA THERE)? Is there a way this can be done? Thanks, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
