grandpabruce
(snip) remember a recorded file is yours - no-one can tell you what you can do with it! Really? You don't read much, do you?

gi7omy
If the DVD is a commercial one, no - it's copy protected and no DVD authoring s/w will extract from a copy protected source
gi7omy
remember a recorded file is yours - no-one can tell you what you can do with it! Just write that down somewhere so you can show it when the Performing Rights Society haul you into court
ggrussell
Assuming a non-commercial disc, Music Disc Creator has that function. Just click a button (Import from CD/DVD).
JohnnyPalmer
HiCan I use EMC9 to copy/extract or otherwise transfer the audio of a DVD to mp3 music for use on my video iPod? kind regards Peter I would just play it on your PC and record it on your PC - just like you would an analogue source - LP, Tape etc. I'm just trying out an update to v9, but, if it won't record protected DVDs, just use your basic sound card tools. i.e. you need a PC DVD player, a PC Sound Card + software and, if you can only record as wav, a file converter - even Roxio 9 can do that - remember a recorded file is yours - no-one can tell you what you can do with it!
