Are you burning a Data project? Under Write options, I get all 3 options for a Data DVD.

Have you gone to the website of the computer/DVD burner manufacturer and seen if there are any updates (firmware) for the burner? The program gets information about the DVD from the Burner.

You haven't upgraded to Internet Explorer 7 or Windows Media Player 11 ? Those programs seem to conflict with older programs.

As far as I can tell, firmware is up to date. I have determined that the problems only occurs with DVD +R disks, not DVD-R or RW disks. Has anyone noticed this issue with their DVD+R disks?

I would suspecat it is burner-specific, since the program gets the info on the different types and brands of disc from the burner firmware. (That's why one of the first sugestions has to do with firmware updates.)

I have EMC 7 with latest updates. When I get ready to burn DVD using Creator Classic, the option to test before the actual burn is not available. When I record to a CD, I get Test only, test and burn, and burn options.

Is this normal behavior?

I imported files from an appendable DVD and added several new files to a the data disk.

Burner was working fine before I had to reinstall on complete new computer install. Will double check firmware issue. Are you saying that some DVD recorders won't allow you to do a "test" option?

Have not upgraded to either IE 7 or WMP 11 yet.

Thanks.
