how to see where clips join or get them to merge?

msongs

Question

hello,

we are trying to merge two clips. we can see the end of one clip OR the beginning of the other clip.

we cannot see where they merge or overlap so we can edit them so they will blend seamlessly.

cannot see the merge point if the clips are on the same level or on seperate levels.

is there a way this program can be used to merge clips as in the beginning of the second clip plays OVER the end of the first clip as in a mix like a dj does?

Sure, use the Timeline View in VideoWave. Add the first clip on top track, then add the 2nd one, wherever you want it, on the overlay track. Move the 2nd one, one way or the other, until you get the desired effect.

Edit: I see that this is audio. In Sound Editor, you should be able to see the end of one and the beginning of the other one, easily, if you zoom in on that section. I have no problem doing what you are trying to do.
