Struggling with an Installation

Noskis427

Question

I have been trying to install Media Creator 8, but I have been struggling to get it to run properly, with Itunes. It appears I can have one or the other, but not both. Itunes will lock up when using either one of the disc drives. If I uninstall MC8, everything goes back to normal. All drives work fine, and Itunes works fine.

Has anyone else Experienced Problems with Itunes?

Is there any special installation instructions that I should use, or a particular order of installing? I would like to have both applications, but it has been a struggle.

Any help is appreciated.

I use iTunes and have used it ok with both V8 and V9.Just make sure that you have updated to the latest version of iTunes. There was a version that caused various problems.

It was version 5 that caused the problems, Terry. I have no idea what version they are up to now, because I never used iTunes. I am thinking about it, though. :)

iTunes broke more than one program, but I think that it was before version 6. I don't use it, but I do know that folks that have been posting have not had a problem with it.

iTunes is not up to v7 and some have reported problems with the earliest version of 6 too but not as many as with v5.
