E-mail / Password combination invalid

I purchased this software just before Christmas and I am still trying to get it to work properly. Here is my latest problem:

 

Trying to find out why the Music Disc Creator Hangs I come back into the discussion forum from time to time to read what other people are experiencing / doing. Last night when I was trying to log in the system read that my e-mail and password combination were invalid so I had to have an e-mail sent to my to re-cover my password. The same thing happened this morning.

 

All I wanted was to be able to continue to record music from LPs and be able to burn CDs. I have had registered versions of ROXIO since vers 5 was out. Vers 6 crashed my computer. 7 was working great until the upgrade to IE7 messed it up. Now with vers 9, I have been spending soo much time trying to get it to work my tolerance level is about to end.

 

I have been reading the posts on this forum and you have got to tell me that ROXIO can't see all the greif and crap that people are having to go through to use this product? It's almost funny when you think how much money ROXIO has made from all of us and yet we continue to buy the next upgrade.

 

There has to be a better way.

the log-in here is case sensitive - what happens now and again is that someone tries to logon with caps lock turned on by accident.

 

As for the software problem - can you post just what it is you're doing, what errors you receive, how you're doing it and also your system specs

I'm Having the same problem. :)

Purchased the download just 12/26.

Just wanted to record old LPs that will never be commercial CD's onto a CD.

 

Program seemed to work great for the first 30 minutes or so, then it started freezing on just recording audio in. Rebooted and reloaded a number of times and now the most I can ever get is 40-45 seconds before it freezes up. Sometimes it will unfreeze later, sometime it will not.

I get no error codes, it just freezes :huh:

 

Using XP, WMP10, Compact NC8000, 60Gig HD, 512ram.

 

I would think if it would work for as long as 30 minutes.... it did it should work now????

 

I have not loaded any other software or been connected to the internet or running any spyware, etc.

 

Tried to go to the Roxio help page and even though it lets me into my account with username and password, it will not let me into the Support request system self service. It is not a matter of caps lock or caps in either. I've even tried going though the change passwords, get the email auto reply and it still doesn't work.

 

If this is not solved soon I will have my credit card company put this payment on hold.

As no-one is sure just what the original poster's problem actually IS yet - I can't see how jumping into a thread claiming 'I have the same thing' is either hepful or has a bearing.

 

As I said originally, (and in your case I'd suggest a new thread) state clearly what you are doing, what error messages you get and system specs, then someone will be able to try to help.

 

Just as a fyi - none of us here work for or are in any way directly connected to Roxio or Sonic - we're just users trying to help other users

This happens to me everytime I try to login using either a different PC or browser. My guess they are using cookies to keep tabs on my login status.

 

I use a utility to store all of my user ids and pswd so I'm not mistyping anything but the Roxio login continues to error out stating that my email address and password combo are invalid.

 

I have to use the password recovery feature which sends a link to me email address and I click on the link and I re-enter the exact same password as my 'new' password.

 

When I review my profile info I find nothing has changed so I'm at a loss why this keeps happening to me.

 

All I know is that I never log out so I won't have this problem the next time I visit.

 

Just another day working with a Roxio product.
