Dennis Ward
I maintain my video collection on an auxillary, internally mounted, hard drive (Drive F). When I attempt to add a new movie to the MyDVD9 editor I get a fatal error , (Visual C++ - Runtime to terminate in an unusual way. R6025 error number.) When I relocated the collection to the C drive , it loaded fine. I wish to continue to use the aux hard drive for capacity management reasons. Is there any way I can load directrly from the Drive F without incurring the fatal error. One other point ....for craps sake ... what kind of error message is this in a consumer application?? This incredibly arcane technospeake is what really turns consumers off. Roxio, "user friendly" is a key criteria for what I buy . I hope they read this stuff ! USB or Firewire? SATA? NTFS or Fat32? Did you change the default file locations for Windows temp files and for this program? Search the boards for that error. You should be able to run from the "F" disc but you still need some space on "C" for the program to work properly.
gi7omy
That runtime error is actually a Microsoft one, but check here for a way to fix it: kb.roxio.com/content/kb/Photosuite/000110CR
