After installing EMC 9 Suite neither Convert CDs nor Disc Copy would recognize commercial music Cds nor those made from recordings thru EMC 7 Sound Editor. The tracks could be accessed thru the Import Audio feature however. With help from Roxio tech support staff I discovered that dvd43_Tray, a line item in my MSCONFIG Startup was the culprit. Line item dvd43_Tray in MSCONFIG which appears as DVD for Free icon in the system tray is a small software that must accompany 1Click DVD Copy in order for 1Click DVD Copy to be able to function. By simply "turning off" the DVD for Free icon in the system tray, Convert DCs & Disc Copy both recognized music CDs. The icon can easily be restored via Start>Programs>dvd43.
