Windows XP Stop Message

In different instances (5-6 so far this winter) a Windows Stop message appears - new "Blue Screen of Death" - while attempting to use Easy CD Creator - one time when I tried to eject a cd from the dvd burner.

I have de & re-installed the cd-rom & dvd burner drivers.

Downloaded patch from Sonic/Roxio & new version of DLA installed.

The Blue Screen still appears randomly

Any help out there?

What version of the software are you using. The last Easy CD Creator was version 5. If you are using the packet writing software that you have in whatever version of Roxio software, then you can't install DLA or you will have all sorts of problems. Same thing if you add Nero's InCD.

 

Different packet writing programs don't get along with each other, if more than one of them are installed.
