Four Terabytes?

Question

I've seen this issue mainly in the Dell OEM versions of Roxio, but it happens in "full" versions as well:

Whenever Roxio Creator is installed on a system with a large hard drive (250 GB, for example), the installation requires around 4TB, regardless of if Full or Custom is selected. Small hard drives (40-80GB) don't have this issue, however.

Has anyone else encountered this, or knows a fix? Thanks!

We've notice some really strange problems and most of those seem to occur on Dell machines. Could be how Dell is setting up the machines or statistically because Dell sells more machines. Who knows? I have installed EMC 9 for friends and family who have purchased it and not a single one have had problems. None of them own Dells (eMachines, Compaq and HPs). Draw your own conclusions.

I too find it appears more Dells have problems and can't say why. However, all mine are reformated and have the OS reinstalled. There's just too much junk that comes from the factory (and not only Dell)!

I guess it's just a fluke, then. I mean, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I wonder if there's something else on the systems that interferes with the program. Maybe a specific brand of hard drive?

I dunno. I guess I'll have to research this further. Thanks!
