Why Beeps?

I've noticed that my copy of Toast 8 beeps once (Bong!) when it starts up and once when it exits. It seems to work ok otherwise. It reports that it's up-to-date. I'm running 10.4.8 on a MacBook. There is a preference to beep when done and that's been disabled. What's up?

We'll keep an eye out, I haven't seen this on our side yet. Lets see if anyone else is experiencing this.
