Titles and Credits

Lord Gnome

Question

I have just purchased Easy Media Creator Studio 9 and I've started work on my first production. Unless I've missed something I can't find out how to add a title sequence to the front of the movie or add credits on to the back end.

Can anyone out there offer some help, please? :)

Are you talking about adding a menu screen to a VideoWave production or are you talking about adding scrolling text to a Video Menu?

If the later, you can make a custom menu. Video and Instructions to make a custom menu are in the Tips and Tricks area of the EMC 9 forum.

I'm talking about adding a menu background to a Videowave production. Can those be selected as the "video" that you start with as the background? If so, where are the pre-loaded ones located?

Thanks

Search for them on your computer.

Mine are in this folder: C:\Program Files\Roxio\VideoUI 9\Content\Video .

They are wmv files so you can use them in VideoWave. Good idea; I had not paid attention to anyone who said they did this.

BTW, it is probably beter if you start your own threads in the future rather than adding to an old one. Sometimes the older ones get lost.

Cool. Thanks. Thought it made more sense to add to this one, since it was related...

Is there any way to add one of the pre-defined animated menu backgrounds (like the TV one) as the background in this process? If so, what is it called and what folder is it in?

I'd really like to have a scrolling credit page with that background and longer than 30 seconds.

Thanks!

Eph

Use Video Wave. Add a color panel, select internal track, add text selecting credit roll.

Many thanks for the instant response. I'll have a go and let you know how I get on.

I'm creating a video of how to do it and it should be available in about 1/2 hour. It will be an AVI file that will play in WMP. It is two minutes long but it will take a lot of time to download.

Having problems with my web site. It won't be avaialble until later.

Brilliant - it works! Pleased with my first attempt, but I am sure that I can do better. Thanks for your help. I'll look forward to seeing your video, Steve.

(I have broadband, so it shouldn't be a problem)

Well I finally got it up and readable. You can see it here; it will open in WMP but it is a two minute download with high speed internet. As I said, the demo is slightly different than what I posted above. That page also has a demo of how to cut out a section of a Video if you are interested.
