.mov won't play

Audderpop

Question

Hello~

My .mov's won't play at all, in any area of my Easy Media Creator 9. I did not have the updated version of quicktime installed at first, but now I do. I've repaired the roxio installation and restarted the computer, but it still keeps telling me that I need to install the proper codec.

I really don't think that it's my system, I just build it about a month ago and this is the first problem that I've had with any programs/videos, etc. All my drivers and such are currently up to date.

I haven't really done much with video editing, except for a few things here and there, so any ideas would be awesome, thanks. :)

Is the version of QT v7? I think that's required.

Some people have had problems with movies files created in some cameras. Where did these files come from?

Yes, I do have the QT v7. My movie files come from a Kodak EasyShare DX4530, 5 Mega Pixels. Do you think that my camera files aren't compatible with Roxio? If it isn't, is there a way to fix it? Thanks. :)

See if the infohere is of any help to you. If not, maybe there is some conversion program that came with your camera that will export the files into another format.
