I am still running S X 10.3.9 on a G4 Sawtooth, and have no intention to upgrade to 10.4.x in the near future (some nice features, but nothing i actually need). I am also still using Toast 6, but I like the new features.
However, Toast 8 seems to require 10.4.x - but if I try to run it on panther, what happens; Sme features will be disabled, it will be slower, or it won't run at all (in this case, I might as well save the money).
If it does not run at all, will I able to use its serial number (or get another one) to activate a copy of Toast 7 until I upgrade the OS?
