Constant updating attempts

Hello

Everytime I run the program, it tries to update from the disk. However, I get the message "a network error occured while attempting to read from the file E:\13fec1.msi". The program installs fine and runs, but it is quite annoying to constantly have windows popping up to update and then it doesn't work. Any help would be great

Presuming E: is your optical drive - the next time that happens, put in the CD and see if that cures the error - it must be trying to load something but I can't think what just now (or it may be trying to repair something)

 

Anyway - let us know what happens

I've tried putting in the CD but that doesn't solve the problem. I have no problems when I install the program from the CD.
