I currently keep ROXIO Version 6 for the flexibility to create BOOT Disc (see http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?ttid=311 ) I also use the MP3PRO CODEC I purchase to prepare Web Content.
I also have 7.5 Installed but since DVD Builder has ceased to function (no I don't have IE7), I purchased EMC9 at COSTCO.
I want to uninstall EMC 7.5 but I'm curious if I should maintain all of Version 6 (No Drag To Disc) which allows me to configure Bootable Disc "Load Segment" and "Sector Count" something version 7 nor 7.5 will allow (AUDIO Central will remain due to MP3PRO CODEC).
I have read version 8 didn't provide this feature either, so what about EMC9? I have found post that EMC 9 does, but no references to using "New Project > Bootable Disc" as found in version 6.
Has anyone used version 9 to generate a Bootable Disc for "Slipstream" applications i.e. XP SPK2?
