I made a DVD movie in MyDVD and should have done it in VideoWave so that I could edit some of the photos to hold longer than others. Is there an easy way to transfer all 130 photos at one time instead of doing it one by one? I'm using Roxio Easy Media Creator 8.

Thanks,

Grammy

Simple answer = no. Sorry.

The long answer here is a work around. This may take you longer than just starting from scratch. If you burned the slide show to a DVD (or do so with an RW). Capture that video using Media Import as an mpg2 or avi file. Alternately, copy the VOB file on the disc to your computer and use that. Add the video to VideoWave. Preview it, cut and then delete the part of the video that contains the last two slides. Add the two text pages that you want. If you are in the storyline view, they will be added as two new blocks. You can then edit the time/text/ music/transitions as needed. Save the project with a name you'll remember, close Video Wave and add that project as a "New Movie"; not new slide show. Continue as you did previously. There is more detailed information in the V9 Tips and Tricks board. What you will be doing (cut out a section of video and adding text) will be the same.

Thanks for your help. I decided the work around was too complicated for me and I just entered all the photos in Video Wave from scratch. I really appreciate your help and letting me know that the transfer couldn't be done--that way I could quit trying to find the easy way out! It took some time to get them in the right order, but it's done now! On to the next step--figuring out how to pan and zoom all photos without having to do each individually!

Thanks again,

Grammy

I got the motion or pan and zoom features applied and was able to keep the last two slides holding still, which is what I was hoping to do. I may still try to get the last frame to scroll like credits on a film if I have time after figuring everything else out. For now, the still frames with the text look fine since there is little text on them.

I really appreciate your help. Couldn't get through this without ya'll!

Are you really sure you want to do that? (Sorry, it is none of my business). See your other thread about not being able to undo the pan and zoom (Automotion). It will apply to everything including the text files that you want to add.

If you want to do this, all you have to do is right click on one of the images and in the windows that opens, select automotion. You will get the notice that it has been applied to all your images. If you don't like the type of automotion, simply click automotion again and a different one will be applied.
