Are there more Transition Effects available?

I just purchased EMC9 last night, mostly to edit a video/slide show I am putting together and while there are quite a few transitional effects bundled, I did not find one that would be most useful to me, one of a transition by fire, perhaps a page going up in flames. Is such a thing available? Are extra transition plug-ins available?

Have you looked in the right place? Not as daft a question as you may think as V9 now as various ways to do each activity. One such thing is transitions - make sure you have tried using Videowave.

No more transitions available now. Have you tried adding one of the animated 3D effects to the image? Nothing like fire but some that will make your head spin. Put in an image on the storyboard twice, add a transition between them (something like dissolve) Apply one of the effects to the second image. you could also get creative by using the overlay track.

 

BTW, you should see over 250 transitions. If you don't have that many you may need to update your video card drivers to get the 3D transitions. Sorry no fires.

You cannot add transitions from other programs.
