jeanrosenfeld
If your sound card allows you to record 'what you hear', play the video clip on your PC and use Easy Audio capture to save the sound to a file. Then edit that in Sound Editor by muting the part you want. Then in Video wave, mute the internal track of thev ideo clip and add your edited sound file. Another way would be in Video wave, cut the video clip just before and just after the bit of sund you want to mute (so you have three clips with the middle one just having the unwanted word), then mute the internal sound of the middle clip. You woulde need to expand the time line considerably to get the cuts in exactly the rigfht places though. If you only want to mute out a very short time that might be fiddly.
