Uninstall / Re-install Problems

Question

After a horrible experiance with a problem that required an un-install and re-install, I find that after finally getting Creater 9 installed that it did not request the 2nd disk (Contents). I put the install contents disk in the drive and a popup shows that ' Contents' is already installed - but it sure isn't.

 

Anyone got any ideas? I uninstalled twice following the instructions in Tips and Tricks article (What a Job) and got same results. Contents is already installed!! Duh. I feel like a dunce...this shouldn't be this difficult to figure out. 2 Days and I give up. Anyone, please?

Contents doesn't install on the program installation as it did in earlier versions

 

Put in the Contents CD and run setup.exe from there

 

 

I HAD the Contents CD in the drive and attempted to install it! Box comes up and says it can not install it, it's already there. No, it isn't! Anyone got any ideas? Thanks for any help.

Ummm, been there, done that too. It ISN'T there! It has to be a line in the registry, but I'm not going thru the registry again and delete every single line that has the word "Roxio" in it. Did that too! Took hours!

 

When the program works, it's great, but I'm getting so frustrated with getting it to work, I'm about to give up on it. I'll stick with it for a bit, but the clock is running.

 

Ummm, guess no one out there can help on this one and Roxio Support sucks so I guess the only answer is to return the unusable Version 9 back to where I bought it befoe my 30 days runs out. Thanks for the try people!

Open software? Good luck with your return. If they do give anything back, even just store credit, please post as in my experience that is unheard of.
