-kenl-
I have a directory that has video and photos that I want to backup to DVD. The SIZE would require 2 DVDs, however I can't seem to do that in EMC 9. Is there any way to get backup or data to span multiple disks (DVDs)? Is there any way to get backup or data to span multiple disks (DVDs)? I have not had problems with backups that require multiple DVD volumes to hold the backup. Are you using BackUp My PC (BUMP 7)? The help info states: "Note: If your backup job exceeds the space available on a single hard drive, drive partition, or piece of media, Backup MyPC will prompt you to select another drive, drive partition, or blank media when the current one has been filled." I honestly haven't tried this yet where "One file is larger than 1 dvd", so can't say for sure that it would work, but it appears this might work okay. Good luck! The Highlander
nope. One file is larger than 1 dvd Then use a programe like winrar and span a big rar or zip file ( make sure you have CRC checking on first) and then burn the two rar or zip files to two DVD's or use a editing software package and cut the vidio files in half.
