OK - let's try this from the beginning

Are you trying to save an avi file to a CD/DVD or are you trying to render it for playing on a set-top player?

Is this a home movie or what is it?

What sound card are you using and what video?

What are your computer specs?

i am trying to save an avi file to an iso file.now when i play the avi file using bs player, windows media player or divx player the file is fine-- visual and audio, but once saved to an iso file using disc copier,i lose the audio.this has happened to maybe 7-8 films i have downloaded.

not sur that the sound card has anything to with it but i dont know what sound card i have.

thnx

I'm still confused here - you don't copy an avi file with disc copier - that is for copying optical discs or writing from iso files - you have to create the iso first using creator classic

btw - check also that you have the CD Audio unmuted in the volume control properties

you can save an avi file to iso using disc copier-video compilation-output---file/folder
