Kasey6465
I recently purchased a new Dell Inspiron 1705 laptop with Media Edition. I attempted to install GoBack which came in my 2003 version of Norton Utilities. The installation crashed my hard drive. When I notified Dell, I was told that GoBack was not compatible with Media Edition. Does anyone know if the newer versions of GoBack are compatible with Media Edition? I really love GoBack and feel very vulnerable without it.
lynn98109
WinXP has System Restore, which is a comparable application - I don't know if it's equally good, but I noticed at some point that on the WinXP, GoBack says the function to restore the system has been disabled. Don't know what other functions GoBack has ... Lynn

I know that the Roxio product Backup MyPD (which you can purchase as part of Easy Media Creator v9 or as a separate product) says that it is compatable with MCE (Sp1,2). However, I don't know how close that is to the GoBack you have been using. You can download a trial edition of EMC9 here and see if it contains what you need. You can probably get better information directly from Roxio. On their Support webpage there is a link to presales questions
gi7omy
As far as I know, Goback was taken over by Symantec - you'd need to check with them as to latest versions http://www.goback.com/
