Disc Copier

HappyBob

Question

I can't seem to make multiple copies. If I select two copies (in the copies selection box), the first disc is produced just fine, the disc is ejected and the screen dialog box indicates that the second copy is being produced. I remove the first copy, insert a blank disc, close the drawer and nothing happens. After 15 minutes of no activity, I'll try to cancel the operation, and that won't work. The only way to get out of this is to take EMC9 down via the task manager and restart the program again.

Is their some preference setting that I've missed?

EMC8 and earlier would prompt me to install a blank disc after the first copy was finished, then after the program recognized the new (blank) disc would proceed with the additional copies.

Thanks for your help,

If you have two burners, you can burn two at once at the highest speed of the slowest burner. :)

Thanks, nice to know for the future. But, alas, my present config is one reader and one burner. (Hmmmm, burners are pretty cheap, and the color of my present burner contrasts with the computer housing...)

Thanks again for the help and the tip!

Not being able to burn multiple copies is a known bug in DC 9, which hopefully they'll correct in an update. There are a number of posts on the subject already.

Thanks Larry, I'll not be "bugging" anyone about it then. It's not such a problem as it is an inconvience.

I tried searching for "multiple copies" in the forum and didn't find much. Anyway, thanks for the prompt help from the forum.
