Backward compatability?

Hi, newbie here but I hope someone can help. I have several DMSM production created in 7.5 but I can't open them in 9.0. The raw footage of same plays fine. I have an older Dell 8250 with memory upgraded.

I did get a message from the program to upgrade video card driver. I did that but it did not help. I get an error message to send to microsoft. Sorry if this has been addressed else where but I could not find it.

The VideoWave projects from EMC 7.5 should open just fine in EMC 9, but any text and transitions that you had in your EMC 7.5 production will be gone.

Checking Dell's support site, I couldn't tell if this model has integrated video or not, but does state the mobo has an AGP 4X slot. Check you video card. If it is older than 4 years, you may want to think about upgrading it. What worked with V7, may not work well with EMC 9 which is much more demanding on the video subsystem.
