Creating an Emulated Disk Problem

FLHaus

Question

I am having a problem creating an Emulated Disk. I select the function and a drive letter (I've tried the default as well as selecting a letter myself) and it starts to create it. Before it finishes, my computer automatically reboots. When it comes back up. The emulated disk is not there.

I am using XP Professional on a HP m7690n Intel Core 2 6400 @2.13 GHz processor. It has 2G of RAM and A RAID 0 configured harddrive with 430 GB available. I have a NVIDIA GeForce 7600 Video card.

Please help. I cannot verify if the quality of a CD is right until I burn the disk and play it back. Problems are not evident in Disc Creator until the image or CD is burned. I would like to do this with the image first so I do not waste disks. Thanks in advance.

Why don't you just burn to a CD RW? What is on the CD - audio or video or just files? Have you tried opening Disc Copier and then previewing the CD from the iso file?

BTW, I don't know why you are having the emulated disc problem. Loos like you posted the same issue about six times. Please don't do that.

Not sure what you are talking about posting six times. I posted once and responded too others about it.
