What I did was

1) uninstalled the Roxio Content 9 program using Add/Remove.

2) Moved my downloaded file (roxio content 9) from my drive F to drive C

3) Went into Add/Remove and selected Repair for the Easy Media Creator 9

4) After it was reinstalled, I rebooted

5) Once back on the desktop, I run the Roxio content 9 installation program once again (this time the file was on drive C)

 

6) After reinstallation of the Content files, I opened Easy Media Creator, went to Photos->Projects and there was this new screen. Went through the whole process and not once did it ask for a CD. So I guess that was it.
