casvin
You still have the installer, or at least the download link for the installer, right? I recommend you uninstall MyDVD (both versions if they're listed) from Add/Remove Programs in the control panel and then install MyDVD 9 without MyDVD 6 installed. It's an upgrade but should install fine as a full install. Very well, Kevin, now Mydvd work fine ! Thanks for the great help. An other little question for you: what about the very nice Menu theme Styles i had in Mydvd 6.0 ? Can i use them too? Have a good day. Vincenzo. Yesterday it was ok. This morning, starting my PC the problem comes again. A Roxio MyDvd 9 Premier.MSI is required. No way to stop the process. Please, can someone help me ? dcboss
I am having a similar problem you are. My DVD wont open - just drops a button on my task bar but i can't do anything with it - have to open task manager to close it up again. I am trying to open Cineplayer also but I am getting the same crap you are. The installer comes up and is searching for DMX.MSI and when i can't tell it where to look, after hitting cancel several times after it tries to rapidly reappear, it finally does open up. You are right about one thing, Sonic support sucks! I am about ready to bag all the Sonic crap on my machine - will try to use system restore first i suppose. Good luck - will keep an eye on your posts to see if anyone helps.
casvin
Please, no body heve the same problem ? I've no answer from Sonic Support. Every time i switch on my PC the Sonic Installer starts looking for a location to download a .msi resource. My last chance is to uninstall and stop with Sonic/Roxio products. I'm not so glad about this support.
