Creating Chapters & Scene Selection

All – First I want to say I have learned more from reading all the posts than from Roxio’s tutorials and help together. Thanks to all.

 

A few questions: In Videowave I took one production and marked it in three places. I created a instance in MyDVD, it created a starter menu. Then I brought the production created in Videowave into MyDVD and it created a menu, I renamed it “Play All”. I then delete the starter menu, and the in the project view, one of the folder names went blank. Is this the proper way to add a production.

 

I also created a second button and added chapters, the three that I marked, three vacations. When I preview the production, and select the second chapter, it plays that chapter and then plays the third. I would like it to play the second chapter and then go back to the scene selection menu. Can this be done?

Yes, Open your MyDVD project.

In the menu tree to the left, click on the submenu.

Select the first chapter thumbnail.

Then VIEW/SETTINGS

Under LINK, there is a AFTER PLAY action drop down list.

Select the same submenu or the menu you desire.

 

That's it. You can do this for each thumbnail.
