converting tivo movies to burn to dvd

I bought Easy Media Creator 9 to convert my tivo movies so I can then burn them to dvd's. I know how to transfer them to my computer but after that I am lost. Does anyone have any idea of what steps to take to accomplish this? I can't seem to find any clear explanation anywhere. I am really new at this.

To edit:

Load Videowave

ADD MOVIE

Navigate to the file and click OK.

Videowave will prompt you to 'convert' it and ask where to put the copy. The converted file will be added to the Videowave project automatically.

 

Edit as you need. SAVE the Videowave project.

 

Open MyDVD

Create new project and then ADD the Videowave project

Edit the MENU

BURN

 

This is very simplified, but hopefully gets you started.
