Slide Show Fading Problem

ftom75

Question

Hi There, I made a slideshow in MyDVD with dissolve transition and applied pan and zoom to all. The preview is fine but when i burn it out I got a very crispy fading effect. My pc is P4 3.2GB, 1GB RAM, disabled antivirus until the burning process and highest priority for the cpu to the MyDVD.

VideoWawe isn't a solution, because the pan & zoom doesn't works and I don't want to do manually on the couple of thousands of pics.

Many thanks in advance.

Re: Crispy fade. You can adjust the transition fade length to that it is less crispy. You may have to change the duration of the image display to go along with the change in transition.

You can apply auto-motion to all images in a VideoWave slide show Select all images via normal Windows method and then right click on one of the selected images. Apply automotion. It will be applied to all images selected.

None of my business -- :) 1000 images by 5 seconds + transitions of two seconds (really only slightly longer than 5 seconds because a lot of the transitions use some of the time of the image display so say 6 seconds. = 6000 seconds = about 1.7 hours. I'm not sure that all of them will be rendered in one slide show without a loss of quality by trying to make them fit on a disc. A minimum of two shows would be better. That's OK because people would fall asleep or get bleary eyed from watching a slide show for almost two hours when the image changes every six seconds.
