Importing Video And Plug And Burn

I am trying to import video using a ADStech AV Link. Toast 7 recognizes the videocam (even though it is a import box). After 20 sec of importing video, Toast pops up a window and says Error Mac OS and stops importing. I am using Tiger and the Toast update 7.02

I'm surprised it got that far. Toast's plug & burn typically only works with DV camcorders and not with capture boxes. It will show the box's name but not import any video.

 

An alternative is to use the freeware application Vidi to capture your video from the AV Link device and then drag that DV file to Toast. You may also may be able to import using QuickTime Pro.
