Storyboard timeline cant be used

I started with EMC7. Upgraded to 9 and had to many problems. Unistalled 9

Now the icon for timeline in the prodcutin editor of storyboard cannot be used. I have unistalled and reinstalled 7 but it continues to be a problem. I can only can only edit from the storyline view. How do I get the timeline back ?

You can but try

 

Uninstall 7 using add/remove programs

download and run the Microsoft Installer Cleanup Utility and remove all traces of Roxio

Then try installing 9
