Combine Video Clips

FLHaus

Question

Does anyone know how I can combine two video clips together so that there is no transition between them? I am trying to edit a capture video tape that was made form 8mm films. there are a lot of bad sections that I want to cut out, but I do not want a transition between them. I'm thinking of the same functionaility that is found in sound editor where you can add clips together, only I want to do this for video. The closest thing I found is selecting no transitions for all, but I may want to have a transition in some other areas of the project.

Thanks in advance.

I have no clue what program you are using, but I have not seen anything that says anything about no transitions for all. :):D

If you use VideoWave, and split/delete the portions that you don't want, the remaining portions of the production will play seamlessly.

:) In Videowave and myDVD No transitions are added automatically between any video clips

I am using videowave 9. Each time I trim a portion it becomes another scene and a transition marker is between them. I cannot find a split tool. I tried selecting the two scenes I want to add together and selected the Choose a style of transition to apply button. In that list there is a "Cuts (remove all transitions)"

Those are "transition markers" as you call them not actual transitions. If you want transitions you have to put them in those locations.
