How do I lock text to photos

zion

Question

Hi everyone. I have edited my slideshow a dozen times and the saddest thing is having to drag the text to match the photo timeline. I would highly appreciate it if someone could help me find out if there is a way to lock in the text or message particular to a photo or a slide so that if the slide duration is increased or decreased the text or message of that slide is automatically updated?

My advance thank you!!!

Read about and use the internal track to add text to one image. There is a demo video in the V9 Tips and Tricks part of this board. It shows scrolling text but the process is the same; just don't add the motion effect to the text.

The only other way is to edit the photo itself by placing an overlay of text on it. I do this in JASC Paint Shop Pro. Then I bring the photo with the embedded text into videowave. Most photsuite software will do this. I haven't tried it with Roxio's because I've been working with JASC and I know my way around it better. Why change something that works.
