I have Easy Media 8 Deluxe Suite. Is there anyway I can remove the vocals from a song and only have the music?

The program is not designed to do that. You could try Sound Editor and play around with the frequencies but you probably won't like the results. There are some programs that are supposed to do that. Look at Dart's Karaoke product. I have not tried that but there is a free trial. The lower priced product will only allow you to use the music on a pc. the higher priced one will allow you to use a machine.

I doubt that would be possible in any recording really.

When the track is made, the music and vocals are intermixed and to try to remove one component will also remove the other

Even top end filtering won't work without total degradation of what remains

One tricks sometimes used is to only save the difference between the left and right channels. If there is a lot of "stereo" then that can come out okay, but you loose all the "mono" signal, which is usually where the vocals are located. And any part of the instrumentation that is strictly centered will also go away. So, stripping out vocals, as Daithi said is not something that can easily (or sometimes with a lot of work) be done. And to do it without affecting the rest of the sound can only be done by remastering the song with the original multi-track masters.
