I have bought Creator 9. I find that several functions in the User Guide are unavailable. These are "Send to Portable Device" in Music Disc Creator, "One Button Backup" in Backup My PC, and "Drag to Disc" does not appear in Applications List of Roxio Home.

I have bought Creator 9. I find that several functions in the User Guide are unavailable. These are "Send to Portable Device" in Music Disc Creator, "One Button Backup" in Backup My PC, and "Drag to Disc" does not appear in Applications List of Roxio Home.

I am not in front of PC with EMC9 hence I cannot confirm the presence or absence of those utilities.

 

If the portable device is iPod, use iTune software to transfer files from your PC to that device. For video, use Disc Copier.

1) Send to portable device-the reason here could be that the device is not being recognized.Also make sure that you choose mp3/wma as the project type.The only time I have it as an option is when that is the project type.

 

2) I have no idea.I don't have that in any location in V9 even though the manual tells you about it as do the help files.

 

3)It doesn't show from the Home menu on mine either.Take a look under Start,Programs,Roxio EMC9,Data and see if you see it there.

Have sent this to Roxio support but received no reply as yet. I think the User Guide has a lot of errors in it. Having said that, I find the product works well once you get your brain into it.
